At CF Dagda we believe in nutrition that fits your lifestyle. Undoubtedly, nutrition lays the foundation for fitness and health. You may know: “You cannot out exercise a bad diet” and “consistency makes the cut”.
Nourishing your body with real food ought to be natural in your day to day life. We all know that it is recommended to get at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in your daily diet for optimal health. How are you putting that into practice? Do you know what that 5 servings look like? Do you struggle to include fruits and veggies in your meals consistently?
WHAT IS IT?
The #800gChallenge was designed by OptimizeMe Nutrition. Eat 800 grams (g) of fruits and/or vegetables, by weight, per day.
No foods are eliminated, but only fruits and veggies count toward the 800g. Eat the fruits and veggies of your choice. Hit the macros you want.
Raw, cooked, canned, frozen; does not matter! If you can weigh it as a standalone and unprocessed fruit or vegetable, you can count it. Yep, that is it! Here’s a one-sheet with all the rules.
Why 800g? It is associated with increased health and is a simplified way to hit those recommended servings of fruits and vegetables. Read more here.
